United Nations International Day of Peace Vigil - Saturday 21 September 2002 - INVITATION.
HE. Prince Ida Ratu Dewa Agung Sri Acarya Vajra Kumara Pandji Pandita, HRH. Princess Marianne Maetrie Vairocani Devi and Richard A Fletcher, are honored to invite you to participate in the United Nations International Day of Peace Vigil. We kindly request your presence along with the people of Melbourne in prayers and meditation on September 21st, 2002.
The Indonesian Royal Families Spiritual Representation and World Peace 2000 International as Messenger of UNESCO Manifesto 2000, have joined in support of this 24 hour UN World Peace event to be held at King Pandji Sakti House, 262 Domain Road, South Yarra, Melbourne Australia.
As we are very well aware, the world today is full of suffering. The horror, devastation and heartbreak of September 11, 2001 are a tragic memory that cannot be forgotten by The United States of America. The malice of terrorism has not only wounded the people of The United States, but all people in the world. We are all suffering, yet all of us wish for the same thing, which is happiness. When it comes to war, what would become of us? Strength and power without love and compassion is blind. Love without courage and strength is lost. Let us join together, may there be peace in the world. Peace is something that we can only develop within ourselves. No matter what race, nationality or religion, we can put our hearts and minds to rest.
During the Vigil, the centre will be open to the public between the hours of 6 am - 7 pm We also look forward to meeting with the Governor of Victoria John Landy, AC, MBE, The Honorable Steve Bracks MP, State Premier, The Lord Mayor and other dignitaries.
